No paywall this week, bonus puzzles for all! Remember how premium cable channels used to have free weekends, and you just *knew* they were airing their best stuff to try to get you to sign up? I'm not saying this is like that, but it's not *not* like that either, you know? Anyway, there's a fog puzzle in this one.
In part that was in hopes of getting more people to sign up before today's volume 45, but in part it's just because your puzzles are always truly great. Thanks for the great puzzles, and keep 'em coming!
P.S. My times were 7:08, 21:52. 19:40, 12:52, and 15:44 this week. Not sure why I found the second puzzle harder than the third!
Thank you for 45 volumes of fantastic killer and killer variant sudokus. Appreciation for your commitment to supporting, growing and contributing to the sudoku community is yours. Here's to another 45(00+) more volumes to come!
Lovely puzzles! Finally found this newsletter, and I'm very glad I did- I don't know how to navigate LMD & I ran out of GAS & GAS Leak puzzle backlog for me to run through, haha
(4:51, 18:49, 14:12, 7:34 (yay fog puzzles!), & 12:46 *without* the Kropkis. Had a lot of fun. Is there a way to do spoiler tags in these comments? haha)
Thanks! Glad to hear Wing Nut might not be as tough as I thought (in that I'd much rather err on the side of overrating difficulty than underrating it).
Wing Nut took me about 49 minutes to complete, half of that time was me trying to figure out the first digit. It was really enjoyable, I would say one of my favorites so far. If I may rate it myself, I would say it's more like 8/10, I feel like I didn't struggle with it as much as I did with some of your past puzzles. But that's just me, maybe this one played to my strengths. 😁
A few days ago, I listed my five favorite email newsletters, and you were number one.

That's awesome, thanks for the plug! The other newsletters on your list all look interesting, I'll check them out.*
*Well, maybe not Yglesias, I get plenty of second-hand exposure to his thoughts on Twitter :-)

Thanks!
Lovely! I personally found the second to be harder than the third (the second was fairly hard and the third was not that hard --- but still not easy)

Haha, not that I know of. But that's great, glad you liked them!
Great puzzle pack as always, James! Wing nut is fun, but probably a bit overrated in terms of difficulty, I agree with 8/10.
And Congrats on 45!
